The front nine is dominated by the water from which the course gets its name with lakes or streams coming into play on all but one hole.  The par 3, 7^th hole is probably the pick of the front nine as you play to a green virtually surrounded by water and with bunkers all around.  The 9^th is also worth a mention as you play across the water to reach the fairway and then need a well-placed second to have a chance of reaching the green with water to one side and behind it.

There is some relief on the back nine as the water is absent for the first couple of holes but reappears on the par3, 12^th and then again on the 16^tt.  A very tough finish to your round awaits as you tackle the 17^th which is a long par 4 with a daunting approach to the green across the water.  The finishing hole is also a challenging par 5 with water all along the left side
