One of Pattaya's most thrilling golf courses thanks to its stunning, undulating natural topography, St. Andrews 2000 Golf Club is, as the name would suggest, designed like a Scottish links course. Playing over 7700 yards to a par 74, and featuring elevated tees and greens, tight landing zones, split fairways, and expansive putting surfaces, it's a daunting challenge, even for low handicappers.
While it caters to experienced players, every Pattaya golfer should play this course. St. Andrews is a severe test of golf from any tee, and although the inclusion of two par-6 holes—the 4th and 13th, a whopping 878 and 861 yards respectively—may not please the purists, they do require extra concentration and novel course management skills.
A backdrop of rocky outcrops and ponds maximizes the visual appeal of a course where your scorecard may not end up quite so attractive, with numerous forced water carries and tricky greens making scoring well a challenge. You're well advised to bring extra golf balls.
The clubhouse isn't spectacular but makes for decent place to grab a beer as you reflect on a round that will leave a lasting impression and plenty of anecdotes to share with your friends. A great, affordable and novel choice for any golf holiday in Pattaya.

Disappointing, had the misfortune to be starting behind a "tournament" so speed of play was at snail's place.
What I saw of it looked a bit tired. My caddy was very helpful but speed of play was beyond her control. In the end, well after 8 holes, I gave up in disgust.With I think three courses at this facility, I would have thought at least suggesting an alternative course would have been sensible move by management.Fun course! Had a lot of fun playing here. A solid layout with a lot of target oriented holes and some meaty holes with a lot of risk/reward. Challenging but not super difficult. The greens are very firm so try to play for front edge numbers. They also roll very true. I would recommend just for the two par 6's because how many opportunities will you ever have to play a course with 2 chances at themNice place (Schöner platz)
