About
The newest course at Siam CC is an impeccably maintained and thrilling challenge
The latest addition to Siam Country Club's suite of exceptional courses, Rolling Hills is a championship standard course garnering rave reviews for it's impeccable condition, natural beauty and thrilling challenge. Packed with waste bunkers, marsh lands, lotus pools, and lakes, it's a gorgeous course full of memorable holes.
The front nine, suprisingly flat given the name of the course, has a very open feel, with the trees yet to mature, but that doesn't mean you'll have an easy time of it. From the endless sand up the right side of the meandering first fairway to the twin greens of the 5th (the course regularly switches between them to vary the challenge), there's plenty to engage even the serious golfer.
An emphasis on risk/reward propositions and an abundance of centreline hazards makes it a thinking man's course, but its length (over 7,250 yards from the back tees) means you can't afford to be conservative off the tee. Birdies are there to be had, but you can pay a steep price for failure.
The back nine offers a contrasting challenge and lives up to the course's name. A lot of effort has evidently gone into landscaping the course to present numerous elevation changes and greens framed by huge mounds, no doubt to offer spectators a great view at the international tournaments that will no doubt be held here in future.
The closing stretch is particularly memorable. At the spectacular 15th, a long, snaking par 5, the green is guarded by a 19-foot pot bunker, and it's a brave man who takes on the 'Wall of Death' instead of taking the sensible option of a lateral play.
The 17th is a theoretically driveable par-4, but a series of bunkers right in the landing zone mean its likely more profitable to try to get to the green in regulation, while the last dog-legs around a lake to a green guarded by no less than 6 sand traps.
The large clubhouse features excellent facilities, from luxury locker rooms, a well-stocked pro shop and two restaurants, one of which offers some great views of the course as you enjoy a well earned post-round beer. A must-play course on any Pattaya golf holiday.

Fun but challenging
Nice golf course condition was okay but not as good as other courses that I have played like Chee Chan. The whole golf course was cart path only which was ridiculous as all the fairways were dry so this made it for a long day having to walk everywhere. Caddies are good and attentive. Course layout is good, very challenging and the greens are very difficult with all the undulations.Won’t go back
Funky course with difficult greens. Cart path only and it was very dry. Many other courses to play in sane area that are a lot better. Wouldn’t recommendVery good experience...enjoy the course...will go again for sure...so relax
Clean very niceeeeeee my 1st time here n I love it...I'm a high handicapper...caddy quite nice looking too...quite big not narrow...but only buggy on track 80% of the time...but I think still ok.Course Info
